Journalist Of The Week (Week 2)

Selfie Wall:
This week we have been doing our Selfie Wall.
The Selfie Wall is when we take a picture of ourselves and we write our Strengths, Weaknesses and Attack.
For attack, we can write a quote of our choice, our hobby, a joke or a weird fact about ourselves.
We also decided to put our picture on a pokemon card template.
E.g:

On the top right corner you have the flag of your country and your year level. And on the top left is your name.
Under your photo is your Strength, Weakness and Attack. When we’re finished it should look something like this: Screenshot 2017-02-15 at 10.44.08.png

Camping:
This week we found out we’re going camp but there’s a twist…. It’s at school and the Year 7 and 8 students are planning it!
We can’t exactly tell you what’s going to happen, but we do know the day we go and the day we come back.
Sadly, it’s Year 7 & 8’s only, however we can tell you what we do when we see you at break times or during school hours.

In week 6’s blog post the writer will hopefully include what we will have done at camp.

  1. Hello Learning Hub Awhio, we too go to camp at Glenbrae School and its only for Years 7&8 too. We are planning on going to Waitangi to learn about the history of New Zealand and the Treaty of Waitangi. A camp at school sounds exciting too. It will all come down to the planning team and the activities they plan to make it a fun camp. Look forward to reading about your camp.

    Regards

  3. Hello again Hub Awhaio. We forgot to mention that we are one of your buddy classes for Te Taiao o Tamaki quad blogging. We can not wait to share our learning with you all and also see what your class is learning and planning. Happy camp planning.
