Learning about sea turtles and explanation writing

Over the last few weeks, Hub Awhio learners have been building their knowledge about how to write explanation texts. We are applying our understanding of how to write a good explanation piece by writing about sea turtles. The different topics we are writing about are: the life cycle of a sea turtle and the different struggles turtles face to stay alive throughout their lives e.g. human interference and predators.
